Maria Grazia Grossi, chair
The chair, Maria Grazia Grossi, joined Congrestolken in 2003. She attended an interpretation programme and studied English literature at the University of Milan. Since 1985 she has worked as a conference interpreter and was a university instructor in Forlì for several years as well. She interprets from English and French into Italian and French.
Veronique Chatterjee -Mars, treasurer
Véronique Chatterjee - Mars joined Congrestolken in 1993.She studied interpreting at the University of Westminster in London. She has worked as a conference interpreter since 1982. She interprets into French from English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Ute Sachs, secretary
Born in Peru of German parents and raised in Costa Rica, Ute Sachs moved to The Netherlands in 1994 and became a member of Congrestolken in 1995. She studied translation at the Sprachen- und Dolmetscherinstitut München and graduated as a conference interpreter from Georgetown University, Washington DC, in 1987. She has been working as a freelance since 1988 and interprets from English, German and Dutch into Spanish, and from Spanish back into English.
